Mahdi Khemakhem appointed as A&R Director with Darkside Records !

Dear fans,

We would like to present you our new A&R Director, please Welcome :

Mahdi MKhema Khemakhem !!!

Mahdi is the lead singer of the Tunisian melodic heavy metal band CARTHAGODS, who are known to be the early pioneers of the metal scene in Tunisia.

Mahdi has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the International metal music scene such as; Mark Jensen of Epica, Tim RIPPER Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Dio Disciples…), Ron BumbleFoot Thal (Guns n Roses, Sons of Apollo…) and Laura Macri of Mayan to name a few.

He has also had the chance to collaborate with Italian bassist Enio Nicolini on the song “Amir of Madness”. Mahdi’s dedication and passion for his music extends to his side project and cover band “Outrage”, where he performs alongside them in bars across the country.

He also invited various internationally recognized artists to perform in Tunisia such as Paul Di Anno, Max Cavalera (Sepultura, Soulfly…), Tim RIPPER Owens, Barend Courbois (Blind Guardian) as well as bands Soen and Acyl. Mahdi has also organized concerts where some of the veterans of metal such as Epica, Dark Tranquility and Anathema shared the stage with CARTHAGODS and brought Tunisian heavy metal fans together.
