Darkside Records is proud to officially welcome the Algerian Heavy Metal force DUSK into the family

A new chapter begins, and it comes with steel, fire, and decades of unbreakable determination.

Born in Algeria, DUSK is not a band forged overnight.

Formed originally in 2001 by two metal-driven souls, Lamine and Nassim, the project emerged from pure passion for Heavy Metal, starting with intense rehearsals and covers of legendary bands. Like many underground acts, DUSK faced harsh realities, limited resources, and long periods of silence, but never extinction.

In 2004, Sofiane joined the mission, attempting to reignite the flame. The spark was there, but destiny had other plans, pushing the band once again into the shadows.

 The true rebirth came in 2014.

Driven by unwavering determination, Redouane resurrected DUSK alongside the founding members, this time with a clear vision: no compromises, no retreat. The arrival of seasoned musicians Amine and Nour El Islem marked a turning point, bringing technical mastery, musical maturity, and a stronger artistic direction.

From that moment on, DUSK entered an era of intensive songwriting and relentless rehearsals, shaping a powerful, uncompromising Heavy Metal sound, sharp riffs, solid rhythms, and an identity carved by perseverance, resilience, and passion.

 Today, DUSK stands stronger than ever, focused on original compositions, explosive live performances, and expanding their presence beyond borders.

 We are honored to announce that DUSK’s upcoming EP will be released under Darkside Records.

This is more than a release, it’s the meeting of shared values: authenticity, endurance, and true Heavy Metal spirit.
